BLOCK PARTY 2017
The Cotton Shop is pleased to
announce our two quilts for Block Party 2017. You may sign up for one or both
of these stunning quilts. Classes will be taught back to back three times
during the month. Both classes start on January 6th.
SIMPLE LIFE
Come and join us for a “Simple Life”
during 2017. For this quilt we have chosen fabrics from the 1950’s, back when
life was simple.
This is a fun quilt to make with
pieced blocks and a bit of appliqué. We will be learning several different methods
of appliqué for you to choose from for this striking quilt.
Cost is just $65 to start, which
includes your first block. Fat eights
will be made available for the appliqué and borders. Finishing kits will be coming soon. Book can be purchased for 20% off when
signing up for the class.
THIMBLEBERRIES VILLAGE
Step back in time to make this
beautiful quilt from Thimbleberries. The fabrics are from the Civil War
collection. The blocks are great for
beginners while also fun and easy for the seasoned quilter. We will be taking
you through step by step each month.
Cost is just $65 to start, which
includes your first block. The pattern
is included with your sign up fee and will be given out monthly with your kit. You just need to purchase 4 yards of
background fabric. (We have lots of new
fabrics to choose from.) Finishing kits
will be made available later in the year.
