October classes

We have lots of classes being offered in October.

Beaded Christmas Tree Wall Hanging - Be sure to bring a lunch when you join us to make this beautiful wall hanging. October 17 from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm. Cost is $40 plus kit.

Learn to Knit or Crochet - Always wanted to knit or crochet? Don't know how to read the patterns? Our teacher can show you how! Bring your crochet hook or knitting needles and some yarn on October 20 from 6 to 8 pm. Cost for each class is just $10.





Snap Bag - Want a quick Christmas gift?  Our next class is on October 21 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Cost is $12. Please bring a sewing machine, sewing supplies and 2 fat quarters. Pattern, pellon and tape measure for "snap" is included in the cost of the class.  

 

Baby Bunting class - Join us to make this cute and cuddly baby bunting.  The class will be on October 22 from 2 to 5 pm and the cost is $15.  Sign up now to get a list of supplies needed.  Don't wait until the last minute or you be prepared for the class.

Software Club - Need help with Designer Gallery Software? Attend our Software Club for help.  It is usually held monthly on the 4th Tuesday (October 25) from 10 am to 1 pm. Cost is just $7.50 a class or 3 classes for $20.  Call store for details and to sign up!


Rag Quilt - Learn how to create this adorable baby blanket. This month the class will be on October 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The cost for the class is $15. Sign up today and get a list of supplies needed. Kits are also available at the store.

As promised, here is another version of the Serged Table Runner being taught November 7th.  With this easy pattern, you could make a new one for every holiday!

Adult sewing classes at the Murray store

Serged Table Runner - Watch this page for the newest version of this festive holiday table runner (picture coming soon).  Join us on November 7 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm to create this cute table runner with fun stitches available on YOUR serger.  Cost is just $30. Fringed Fleece Baby Blanket  - Always a favorite at our store, join us on November 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Cost of the class is $10 and it includes this great pattern.  Sign up today!

Fun & Easy Edges -  Wanna put the WOW factor into your crocheted flannel blankets or burps?  Pam Neumann, author of Fun & Easy Edges will show you how!  Join us on November 11 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  The class is only $10!  Pick up her first book featuring patterns for crowns, frogs, teddy bears, caterpillars and hearts.  Great for boys!  Get it today!!

We have some new classes scheduled this month as well as some of our favorites.

Christmas Table Topper - This is a 2-part "quilt as you go" class that will be held September 10 and October 1 from 2 pm to 4 pm.  Cost for the class is $40. Come into the store to sign up and get a list of the supplies needed.

Serged Table Runner - Learn to create this cute and festive table runner with your serger. September 12 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Cost is $30. Make sure to get a supply list when you sign up.
