January classes

We are about to start a new year and that means NEW CLASSES!!!!  To sign up or ask questions, call us at 801-266-6942.

This year, we are introducing some new classes.  This month will be the premiere of our Babylock Serger Feet class.  If you own an Imagine, Enlighten, Evolution or Ovation, come and learn how to use the different presser feet.  This class will be held on the 1st Tuesday.  We will make a different project each month while working with a variety of presser feet.  Don't worry if you don't have the foot already; we will have some for you to borrow.  Call the store to check it out.  The class is $10 which just covers the cost of the project.

On the 3rd Tuesday, we are having our Embroidery In-The-Hoop class.  You don't even have to own an embroidery machine to participate in this class.  You can use one of ours.  A great way to try something new, learn a new technique or simply come and make a cute project.  Cost is $10 plus price of kit (will vary from $5-$15 depending on project).

In our Knit and Crochet class, you can learn that pattern that has been sitting there waiting for a chance to be made.  The teacher can help you learn any stitch and give you the confidence to create something beautiful.  Classes are held monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 5:30 pm.  Fee is just $10.

UFO & Sew - Bring a project and come sew with us.  On the 4th Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, our classroom is available.  You can work on "secret projects" or just come and have fun with a roomful of fellow sewers.  Cost is just $5.  Room is limited so call a book a spot now.

Learned to sew in Junior High but haven't touched a machine since?  Know how to sew but have questions like how to put in a zipper?  Attend our Adult Sewing class for help.  We even have machines you can use.  Check the calendar for class dates and times.

Make sure to mark your calendar NOW for our Embroidery Club. We meet on the 3rd Saturday at 10.  We show different ideas, projects and techniques.  Fun prizes are given away at each meeting.  Bring a show & tell item.  Who else can really appreciate your hard work like us?  No sign up is necessary.  Just come and have fun!

February classes in Murray

Is it February already??  Whew!  January FLEW by - even though it was very cold.

More Classes At Murray

We have two more fun classes at our Murray location this January. We hope you are enjoying this line-up; classes are such a great way to meet new friends, learn new techniques, and complete more projects.

On January 25th, we will have our Snap Bag class from 6-7:30pm. This would make a great gift for yourself or maybe finish a Mother's Day gift early this year!

On January 28th, we will have our Fun & Easy Edges class from 10:30-11:30am. Learn some amazing new crochet edges. You could use this technique on our flannel burp cloths or receiving blankets. They get so much attention at baby showers!

Adult sewing classes at the Murray store

Want to learn how to sew?  Join us for a 4-week class where you will learn how to pick out a pattern that is right for you, which fabrics to use and help you to sew a finished project.  Classes start October 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  Cost is $12.50/class or 4 weeks for $40.  Call (801-266-6942) or come into the Murray store to sign up - 6100 S State, Murray.
