September classes

September is here!  School has started, Labor Day is over, days are getting shorter and cooler and the Utah State Fair is just around the corner.  Want a fun way to start the fall season?  Check out our classes in September and October.

BLOCK PARTY - Join us for Block Party on September 6th or 7th.  Bring your Show n' Tell too.  (Mark your calendars now for October 4th or 5th.)


 

We have three fun projects in store for you during "Time with Teresa".  On September 4 @ 10 am - organize yourself with this clever Multi-Pocketed Pouch.  Great for sewing class or organizing your purse.  Quick and easy AND can be made with only two fat quarters. Class fee $20.

On September 11 @ 10 am, give your 5x7 notebook a touch of

class with this quick and easy Notebook Holder.  Use it to keep score during your favorite games or to plan your day. 

Class fee is $20
 

Store your playing cards in this cute Card Deck Holder.  It keeps the cards all nice and neat instead of scattered in a drawer or broken cardboard box.  This class will be held on September 25 @ 10 am.  Class fee is $20.

 

 

Create this colorful Halloween Wall Hanging while Sewing with Meghan on September 12 @ 5:30 pm.   Using a multitude of fun fabrics, you will create this spiderweb wall hanging.  Cost of class is $15. 

Serger Club will be on September 14th @ 2:30 pm.  We will be making this gorgeous serged pillow.  Call now to sign up and learn what you need to bring.

 

Our Knit/Crochet class with Ann will be on September 19 @ 5:30 this month.  Sign up now to enhance or learn a new skill.  Cost for the class is $10. (Next class will be October 17th.)

 

Mary Mulari is coming to the Cotton Shops on September 21st.  Join us for the day for just $49.  Lunch is included plus get a chance to win some fun prizes.  Check out the flyer below for more details.

 

 

Rag Quilt class will be held on September 26th @ 5:30 pm.  Call now to reserve your spot. Cost for the class is $15.

  

 Embroidery Club  is on September 28 @ 10 am.  There is NO charge for this class but always great ideas and fun Show n' Tell items from our creative customers.  Join us for some inspiration.  NOTE:  Embroidery Club is one week later than usual so you all can attend the Mary Mulari Event. 

 

 (Please note that there will not be an Embroidery Club meeting in October.  Instead, sign up for the John Deer Event and come sew with us.)

Bra-Making 101 Workshop -- Come learn how to make the right bra for your body.  For just $100, you get 4 classes plus a personal private Pre-Fitted appointment with the instructor before classes even begin.  Dates are September 23rd, 30th, October 3rd & 4th.  All classes will be from 5-8 pm.  Don't miss out - space is limited to 6 students per workshop.

Learn to Sew with Carolyn will be featuring a Sewing Sash on October 2 @ 11-2 pm.  Perfect to use while you work on any of your sewing projects.
