SUMMER KID'S CLUBHOUSE -- Want something for your kids to do this summer?  Have them learn a new skill, make some new friends and make something fun. 
 

Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night.  Classes will be held on July 2, 9, 16 & 22 from 11 am to 1 pm.

Cost is just $125 for each class session (4 classes) and kits OR $225 and receive a B-9 sewing machine when you are finished.  Don't delay -- class is limited.


Sewing with Meghan --  Come to the first class taught by Meghan! Add a splash of color to your sewing room with this adorable pin cushion! A beginner class for
anybody that has any sewing experience. Come have a fun night out! July 2nd 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Class cost $15 or 6 classes for $60. Plus cost of pattern and material. Kit available.

Sewing with Meghan -- (part 2)  Are you ready to add some flare to your entry or dining table?! Yes! Then this is the class for you! This modern table runner is perfect for summer or fall. Plus, learn how to do a binding! For anyone from beginning to advanced. Have a night out with friends! July 11th 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Class cost $15 or 6 for $60. Plus cost of material. Kit available.

BLOCK PARTY -- July 12 (10 & 10:30 am) & July 13 (9:30, 10 & 10:30 am).  Don't forget your show & tell.  We want to post them on our Facebook page.

Learn to Sew with Carolyn -- July 12 at 5:30 pm.  Sign up for this beginners sewing class and make two simple Triangle Totes with Carolyn.  You will learn how to insert a zipper plus other fun techniques.  Cost is just $20 per class.  Sign up soon and get the list of materials needed.

Knit / Crochet with Ann -- July 18 - 5:30 pm.  Ann wants to share her love of knitting and crocheting with you.  Let her teach you a new skill or brush up on what you already know.  You can even make one of these beautiful scarves.  Just ask her how.

Embroidery Club -- July 20 - 10 am.  It's hot, Hot, HOT in here.  Don't get "hot under the collar" though - come and learn how to fix those pesky embroidery problems.  Don't forget your show & tell items -- we just LOVE to see what you create.

Rag Quilt class -- July 25 at 5:30.  Want to learn how to make a cute flannel rag quilt?  Sign up now and let us help you make that wish come true.

 FUN & DONE -- July 27 & Aug 3 at 1:30 pm.  Our kid's sewing class will be making this adorable Triple Tiered Skirt.   Just $20 for this two-session class.

From the elastic waist to the flounce of the bottom tier, this skirt is a quick and easy project that can be made for children (sizes 4-16) and adults (sizes 2-28). Whether you mix and match three different fabrics, like the sample, or decide to use only one, you'll follow a chart to choose the size and length of each tier and finish the skirt by learning how simple gathering and making an elastic casing can be. Make the matching "Knot an Ordinary Purse" (August's project) to have a cute outfit that you'll make again and again in different fabric combinations. 

 

FUN & DONE - Knot an Ordinary Purse -
August 24 @ 1:30 pm  Easy piecing is sure to make this fashionable sling purse an oft-repeated project. Cut to hold a generous amount of books or your walking-about necessities, this bag is lined with contrast fabric and its long handles can be adjusted slightly in length by where you choose to tie the knot.  Make it in fabrics that match the Triple Tiered Skirt (July's project) and you'll have a stylin' outfit for the start of school.  Class fee is $15.
