July & August calendars

Join us this summer for some really fun classes.  We have LOTS of new classes to choose from.

On July 1, we had our first Happy Hoopers Club session.  This is the cute bag we made.  Check out the next session on August 5th. 

If you want to learn more about the creative and fun things Serger feet do, join us for a class.  July 7 - 1 to 3 or 5:30 to 7:30; August  4 - 1 to 3 or 5:30 to 7:30.  

Our Block Party dates are July 10 (10 & 10:30), July 11 (9:30 & 10) and July 9 (7 pm).  The August classes actually being July 31 (10 & 10:30), August 1 (9:30 & 10) and August 6 (7 pm).  

Want to make this cute Table Runner and matching placemats?  Sign up for this class which begins July 10 from 1 to 4.  We will conclude the class on July 17th.  Intermediate sewers please.

Our American Summer Block of the Month begins July 18.  The class will begin at 1 pm.  We will have the classroom available from 1:30 to 3:30 if you want to bring your machine and sew with us.  The next one will be on August 15th.

Embroidery In the Hoop is really fun!  Join us for some hands on experience on July 22 (1-3 or 5:30-7:30) or August 26 (5:30-7:30)  The projects are always different and a TON of fun!!

April calendar

In April, we introduce a new class called Beginning Quilting.  It starts on April 17th and concludes April 24th.  Space is limited so call and sign up today.  This is an example of what they will be making.

We are having TWO Adult Sewing classes this month - April 3 & April 17.  They start at 5:30 pm.  Our teacher is wonderful and is willing to help you sew your project - even put in a zipper.


On April 7 at 1-3 or 5-7, join us for our fourth Babylock Serger Feet class.  Come and learn how to use the different presser feet on our Babylock self-threading sergers.  We are holding this class on the 1st Tuesday of each month.  We will make a different project each month while working with a variety of presser feet.  Don't worry if you don't have the foot already; we will have some for you to borrow.   Call the store to check it out.  The class is $15, which just covers the cost of the project.

The next Embroidery In-The-Hoop class will be held TWICE on April 22nd - at 1 pm and again at 5:30 pm.  You don't even have to own an embroidery machine to participate in this class.  You can use one of ours.  A great way to try something new, learn a new technique or simply come and make a cute project.  Cost is $10 plus price of kit (will vary from $5-$15 depending on project).

HOPE YODER'S Sip & Sew Tea Party is coming up fast.  April 17th & 18th.  Cost is just $129 for both days.  It includes use of our new Destiny machine, lunch, snacks and all your project supplies.  
Time is short so don't delay - CALL TODAY.  

If you aren't going to attend the Hope Yoder event, make sure you  attend our Embroidery Club on April 18th at 10am  (We meet on the 3rd Saturday.)  We show different ideas, projects and techniques.  Fun prizes are given away at each meeting.  Bring a show & tell item.  Who else can really appreciate your hard work like us?  No sign up is necessary.  Just come and have fun!  Check out of Facebook page to see examples of what we did as well as the show & tells. 

In our Knit and Crochet class, you can learn that pattern that has been sitting there waiting for a chance to be made.  The teacher can help you learn any stitch and give you the confidence to create something beautiful.  Classes are held monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 5:30 pm.  Fee is just $10.

Sign up now for the next Block of the Month quilt.  The SUMMER quilt starts in May.  Cost is just $45 for the 4-month class.  (If you sign up for the WINTER quilt too, the cost is only $80.  OR if you paid for the SPRING quilt and now want to join us for the next two installments, cost is only $100.)

March is here!  Time is flying by already.  We have listed our March classes below.  Don’t forget to sneak a peak at the April calendar at the end of the post.  Sign up for your class soon – or it might be full.

UFO & Sew - Bring a project and come sew with us.  On the 4th Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, our classroom is available.  You can work on "secret projects" or just come and have fun with a roomful of fellow sewers.  Cost is just $5.  Room is limited so call a book a spot now.

Learned to sew in Junior High but haven't touched a machine since?  Know how to sew but have questions like how to put in a zipper?  Attend our Adult Sewing class for help.  We even have machines you can use.  Check the calendar for class dates and times.
