March & April calendar

March is here! Time is flying by already. We have listed our March classes below. Don’t forget to sneak a peak at the April calendar at the end of the post. Sign up for your class soon – or it might be full.

On April 7 at 1-3 or 5-7, join us for our fourth Babylock Serger Feet class. Come and learn how to use the different presser feet on our Babylock self-threading sergers. We are holding this class on the 1st Tuesday of each month. We will make a different project each month while working with a variety of presser feet. Don't worry if you don't have the foot already; we will have some for you to borrow. Call the store to check it out. The class is $10, which just covers the cost of the project. This is the pillow they made in March. (Love it? This project will be repeated in July.)

Our next Embroidery In-The-Hoop class will be on March 17th at 1 pm. You don't even have to own an embroidery machine to participate in this class. You can use one of ours. A great way to try something new, learn a new technique or simply come and make a cute project. Cost is $10 plus price of kit (will vary from $5-$15 depending on project). Below is a picture of the project from February. Cute huh?

In our Knit and Crochet class, you can learn that pattern that has been sitting there waiting for a chance to be made. The teacher can help you learn any stitch and give you the confidence to create something beautiful. Classes are held monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Fee is just $10.

UFO & Sew - Bring a project and come sew with us. On the 4th Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, our classroom is available. You can work on "secret projects" or just come and have fun with a roomful of fellow sewers. Cost is just $5. Room is limited so call a book a spot now.

Learned to sew in Junior High but haven't touched a machine since? Know how to sew but have questions like how to put in a zipper? Attend our Adult Sewing class for help. We even have machines you can use. Check the calendar for class dates and times.

Make sure to mark your calendar NOW for our Embroidery Club. We meet on the 3rd Saturday at 10. We show different ideas, projects and techniques. Fun prizes are given away at each meeting. Bring a show & tell item. Who else can really appreciate your hard work like us? No sign up is necessary. Just come and have fun!

Our first Embroidery Retreat “S.S. Sea N Sew” will be on March 21st. Sign up quickly because the space is limited. Cost is just $100 which includes lunch, snacks and project supplies.

Sign up now for the next Block of the Month quilt. The SUMMER quilt starts in May. Cost is just $45 for the 4-month class. (If you sign up for the WINTER quilt too, the cost is only $80. OR if you paid for the SPRING quilt and now want to join us for the next two installments, cost is only $100.)
